There’s a public fridge in Warsaw where all the food is free 🥖 Today there was rice and bread inside, and I left some sweets. A few rules do apply: 🚫 No raw meat, no dishes with raw eggs or unpasteurized milk, nothing spoiled 🏷️ Homemade food needs a label with what’s in it and when you made it 📦 Everything sealed in clean packaging, and products past “best before” are fine as long as they’re still within the “use by” date Warsaw has around 47 of these across the city, in almost every district, and neighbours keep them running themselves. And the point that surprises people: it’s not charity. It’s an anti food waste project, and anyone can use it. Student, pensioner, family, whoever.
